The Small Kitchen Cook

In this first collection of The Small Kitchen Cook you are offered more than 65 recipes created for campervans, caravans, and tiny homes, Ashleigh Butler shows you how to cook delicious, seasonal, and nourishing food, even if your only equipment is a two-burner stove, a small fridge, and an incredible, everchanging view.

Each recipe will delight anyone who wants to prepare fresh, sustainable, and wholesome meals as varied as the locations and friends encountered on the journey—whether prepared on the road or in a tiny home kitchen.

With stunning photography and hand-drawn illustrations, this is a must-have for home chefs interested in eating responsible, delicious meals.

About the Author

Ash and her partner, Jared Campbell, have spent a decade travelling across Australia and the US in a campervan. During that time, Ash drew on her love of cooking, experimentation, and work as a cook in small cafes and, often, caterer to the giant gatherings organized by @vanlifediaries (a social media platform of which Jared is a co-founder), to become an expert on preparing great food in small spaces, often with little more than a two-burner gas stove, a good knife, a mortar and pestle and pantry basics.

Ash currently lives in Jan Juc, famous for Bells Beach, in regional Victoria with Jared and their twin daughters.
